Software Engineer, AI Developer Productivity (MTS)

About the role

Join the AI Solutions team at Salesforce to build internal products that help thousands of engineers adopt AI‑assisted development safely and effectively. You will work on full‑stack features, data pipelines and integrations that turn AI usage into measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and ship full‑stack features for internal developer‑productivity products, including desktop experiences, backend services, data pipelines and dashboards.
• Build backend APIs, data models, ingestion flows and integrations that connect AI tool usage to measurable outcomes for engineers and leaders.
• Own features in production, improving observability, reliability, performance, security and supportability.
• Develop AI‑enabled workflows with appropriate evaluation, safeguards and human oversight, and review AI‑generated code for quality and security.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience building production software, including full‑stack applications or internal platforms.
• Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in at least one modern language, with ability to work across frontend, backend, APIs and data stores.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end features from design through production ownership.
• Demonstrated AI‑first approach using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex or Cursor, and ability to craft precise prompts.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills.
