Software Development Engineer - Customer Experience

About the role

Zinier is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join its 24/7 Support Engineering team. You will act as the front‑line custodian of the customer experience, providing technical support across the Zinier platform and collaborating with solution architects and product engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to customer tickets, email and Slack queries within defined SLAs.
• Diagnose and resolve workflow misconfigurations, API failures, code issues and data discrepancies.
• Investigate logs, trace execution paths and analyse JSON payloads to isolate breaking logic.
• File production deployment requests on behalf of customers and coordinate with internal teams.
• Identify gaps in knowledge‑base articles, create documentation and propose AI‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of JavaScript development or application support experience.
• Strong analytical mindset, customer‑first orientation and excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and participate in 24/7 on‑call rotations.

Required skills

• JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS
• REST APIs and basic SQL (MySQL or similar)
• Familiarity with log analysis, cloud services and multi‑tier web architecture
• Experience with CRM/ticketing tools such as Jira or Salesforce
• Exposure to Grafana, React, Java, Python, Linux and ITIL concepts
