Social & Community Manager

About the role

Xometry is seeking a Social & Community Manager to be the daily voice of the brand across organic social channels and community platforms. You will engage with buyers and suppliers, ensure timely responses, and maintain the brand’s tone and personality.

Key responsibilities

• Own the daily voice, community engagement, and triage of inbound inquiries on forums, Reddit, YouTube and other platforms.
• Stand up and manage a social listening/servicing tool to monitor real‑time conversations.
• Maintain the social content calendar and collaborate with an external agency on content production while retaining strategic control.
• Establish and run a servicing triage process, pulling in subject‑matter experts when technical credibility is needed.

Required profile

• 7+ years managing organic social or online community programs, preferably in a B2B or technical environment.
• Strong writing ability with a distinct, adaptable voice for authentic engagement.
• Proactive, community‑first mindset with the ability to spot trends and join conversations.

Required skills

• Experience with social listening or servicing tools.
• Ability to triage and prioritize inbound engagement, deciding when to respond directly or involve experts.
