Site Reliability Engineer III – NeoVest

About the role

Join JPMorganChase’s NeoVest team as a Site Reliability Engineer III, where you will tackle complex business challenges by building reliable, scalable, and automated cloud solutions. You will work hands‑on with code and infrastructure to improve the availability and performance of mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead release planning, maintain a release calendar, and coordinate release windows across multiple teams.
• Design, build, and enhance automated CI/CD pipelines with gating, rollback, and promotion strategies.
• Implement deployment strategies such as blue/green, canary, and phased rollouts, and manage post‑deployment validation.
• Define and operationalize service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), alerts, and error budgets.
• Develop infrastructure‑as‑code, configuration‑as‑code, and network‑as‑code for secure, repeatable environments.
• Automate repetitive operational and release tasks using scripting and software‑engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across applications, cloud infrastructure, and networking layers.
• Improve observability through telemetry, dashboards, and actionable alerting using industry‑standard monitoring and logging tools.
• Promote SRE best practices by sharing knowledge, reviewing designs, and contributing to operational readiness.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of experience supporting production services with a focus on availability, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, C#, Java) for automation and tooling.
• Hands‑on experience designing or operating CI/CD pipelines and source‑control workflows.
• Experience implementing observability practices (monitoring, telemetry, SLO alerting).
• Experience working with multiple cloud platforms and Windows/Linux server environments.
