Site Manager

About the role

Naylor Love is seeking a motivated Site Manager to lead the construction phase of commercial projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality fit‑out and finishing services while maintaining a zero‑harm safety environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all site functions on commercial projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Develop and motivate trade teams, fostering a collaborative and performance‑driven culture.
• Implement and champion the company’s health and safety standards to achieve zero‑harm outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder communications, including clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and quality standards, taking corrective action when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects in New Zealand.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with project management software and related tools.
