Service Technician – Security Technology

About the role

We are seeking a Service Technician specialized in security technology to join our team in Germany. You will be responsible for maintaining and installing a variety of security alarm systems across multiple customer sites, ensuring reliable operation and swift resolution of issues.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent maintenance and minor installations of fire alarm, intruder alarm, and video surveillance systems.
• Process and document small orders, ensuring accurate records.
• Execute service work, maintenance tasks, and minor installations on customer premises.
• Analyse malfunctions professionally and implement corrective actions.
• Provide instruction and training to operating personnel and customers.

Required profile

• Completed training in an electrotechnical field (e.g., IT, telecommunications engineering, communications technology) or several years of comparable experience in security alarm technology.
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as VDE, DIN, and VdS.
• German language skills at B1 level and good English proficiency.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel within the Germering area and surrounding regions.
