Service Technician

About the role

As a Service Technician at Tesla, you will join a global team dedicated to accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. You will work on the most advanced electric vehicles in production, applying both basic and advanced diagnostic and repair techniques while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and repair work on all Tesla products, from routine maintenance to complex issues.
• Collaborate with teammates to maximize repair efficiency and ensure high‑quality vehicle delivery, including cleaning and detailing.
• Use a variety of high‑quality hand, power, and shop tools, as well as a company‑provided laptop for diagnostics and online training.
• Accurately document repairs, inspect and maintain shop equipment, and request replacements when needed.
• Provide direct feedback to Tesla’s design and engineering teams to improve repair procedures and products.

Required profile

• Ability to adapt to new technologies, follow instructions carefully, and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong safety‑first attitude.
• Basic command of English.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience using diagnostic software on a laptop.
• Fundamental computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Excel and Word.
