Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Join the Product Engineering Team at Félix to design and enhance the core technology behind a chat‑driven financial platform. You will build high‑performance backend services and conversational interfaces that enable seamless cross‑border money movement via chat apps like WhatsApp.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable microservices for the chat platform, handling millions of daily requests.
• Develop, deploy, and iterate on chatbot services and natural language interfaces.
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and business teams while mentoring junior developers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and web services (REST, SOAP).
• Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency.
• Passion for building products that impact millions and curiosity about fintech.

Required skills

• Python, Flask/FastAPI, REST APIs, gRPC, Redis, SQL.
• Google Cloud services (Firestore, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Artifact Registry, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Composer).
• Kubernetes, Terraform, NewRelic, PagerDuty.
• Experience with chatbot frameworks (DialogFlow, IBM Watson, Rasa) and NLP integration.
