Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the architecture, governance, and cost efficiency of our cloud and platform infrastructure. This remote contractor position works with engineering and IT teams across LATAM to design, build, and operate scalable, reliable, and cost‑effective systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evolve cloud infrastructure architectures for high availability, security, and scale.
• Define and maintain reference architectures, patterns, and standards for services and environments.
• Lead modernization initiatives such as containerization, Kubernetes adoption, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Establish governance, access‑control, configuration‑management, and cost‑management policies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Develop automation for deployment, configuration, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure visibility and performance.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑incident reviews.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and IT teams to deliver resilient solutions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and site reliability engineering.
• Hands‑on leader who can design reference architectures and drive automation initiatives.
• Proven ability to balance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Experience working in distributed, remote teams, preferably in LATAM.
