Senior SEO Content Writer (Remote)

About the role

Viva is building an in‑house organic‑growth engine and needs a senior SEO & AEO copywriter to turn search strategy into high‑quality, publish‑ready content. You will create solution pages, landing copy and content refreshes that align with audience intent and drive visibility across Google and AI‑powered search.

Key responsibilities

• Write and publish SEO and AEO content end‑to‑end, converting keyword‑cluster briefs into solution pages, guides and landing pages.
• Use AI tools (AirOps, ChatGPT, Claude) for research, outlining and drafting, then apply human judgment for accuracy, originality and voice.
• Optimize existing content using Google Search Console and Google Analytics to decide what to rewrite, consolidate or improve.
• Apply on‑page SEO best practices: headings, metadata, internal linking, schema and structured page layout.
• Research competitors, identify content gaps and maintain the editorial calendar with clean handoffs to the WordPress developer.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional copywriting or content‑writing experience, including 3 years focused on SEO‑driven content with proven organic‑traffic growth.
• Demonstrated ability to turn keyword clusters into well‑researched, publish‑ready pages.
• Strong autonomous work style, capable of creating processes and prioritising without constant direction.
• Advanced written and spoken English (C1 level) for clear communication with U.S. and international audiences.

Required skills

• SEO and AEO expertise, including on‑page optimization, keyword clustering and SERP analysis.
• Proficiency with AI‑assisted content workflows (ChatGPT, Claude, AirOps or similar).
• Experience using Google Search Console, Google Analytics and WordPress for publishing and performance tracking.
• Knowledge of schema markup, internal linking strategies and metadata creation.
