Senior Security Architect – Crypto & Blockchain

About the role

Kraken is looking for a hands‑on Senior Security Architect to join Kraken Security Labs. You will work remotely with a small, highly technical team, providing deep security consulting for a range of products, from infrastructure and cryptography to Rust‑based AI services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and verify robust security architecture across heterogeneous environments.
• Conduct thorough security assessments and audits of existing systems, recommending practical improvements.
• Stay current with blockchain, web3 and AI security trends, threats, and mitigation techniques.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and blockchain teams to embed security best practices.
• Provide hands‑on security testing and guidance throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT security expert with a strong focus on application security.
• Demonstrated ability to perform security testing on diverse applications and infrastructure.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, remote environment and communicating with global stakeholders.
