Senior Public Affairs Director

About the role

Edelman Argentina is seeking a Senior Public Affairs Director to lead public affairs strategies for its clients. The position operates on a hybrid model (three days onsite in the Palermo office and two days remote) and reports to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead public affairs strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Provide counsel on regulatory, political and reputational matters.
• Monitor the Argentine political and regulatory environment and generate actionable insights.
• Develop and manage relationships with government officials, regulators and key stakeholders.
• Support business development and account growth initiatives.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with internal teams.
• Collaborate on integrated communication campaigns.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations or strategic communications.
• Background in agency, public sector, corporate or consultancy environments.
• Deep knowledge of the Argentine political and regulatory system.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects concurrently.
• Interest in commercial initiatives and account development.
• University degree in Political Science, Communication, International Relations, Law or related fields.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, team‑oriented settings.
• Advanced fluency in English (spoken and written).
