About the role

Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a digital‑marketing client’s 24/7 network team. The role involves designing, deploying and maintaining large‑scale enterprise and data‑center infrastructure while participating in on‑call rotations.

Key responsibilities

Design and deploy new network infrastructure.
Recommend upgrades and resolve complex issues on existing infrastructure.
Participate in lifecycle projects for network gear.
Automate day‑to‑day network provisioning tasks.
Deliver complex projects and collaborate with other operations teams.
Train and mentor junior engineers.
Provide DDoS mitigation and other security initiatives.
Work on PCI and compliance tasks.
Deploy and maintain data‑center and corporate office network infrastructure.
Respond to NOC alerts and pages during on‑call weeks.
Generate and update documentation.

Required profile

5+ years of network engineering experience in large‑scale enterprise and data‑center environments.
Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
Experience with on‑call rotation and responding to NOC alerts.

Required skills

Automation with Ansible.
Configuration of Palo Alto and Juniper security appliances.
Load balancing, DNS and SaaS infrastructure.
Cloud platforms AWS and GCP, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
Wireless technologies for corporate offices.
Routing and switching: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS (L2 & L3 VPN), RSVP, LDP.
Switching: VLAN/trunking, STP, RSTP, VSTP.
F5 firewalls and load balancers.
Linux for monitoring tools.
Python scripting (nice to have).
Fortinet (nice to have).
Vendor certifications such as JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE.
Terraform (nice to have).
