Senior Manager, Operations

About the role

Sovos is looking for a Senior Manager, Operations to lead and scale its Americas Operations team. In this autonomous, high‑impact position you will oversee the operational backbone of the delivery organization, from project setup and data governance to executive reporting and process optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Build, develop and coach a high‑performing operations team across multiple seniority levels.
• Set priorities, standards and performance expectations aligned with delivery goals.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex operational challenges.
• Drive end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle, project governance and PSA system administration (Cloud Coach, Salesforce).
• Establish and maintain KPIs, dashboards and reporting for capacity, utilization, forecasting and billing.
• Ensure data integrity across systems and translate complex data into executive‑ready insights.
• Partner with Delivery, Sales, Finance and Customer Success leadership as a trusted operational advisor.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives to scale professional services operations globally.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in operations, analytics or PMO roles with proven team‑leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
