About the role
The Senior Logistics Manager leads workforce capability, operational excellence, and resilient logistics performance at Ecolab’s Buenos Aires site. Reporting informally to global logistics leaders, the role drives talent development, continuous improvement and cross‑regional collaboration while operating with a high degree of independence.
Key responsibilities
- Support recruiting, onboarding and talent planning; develop pipelines and coach teams to build a high‑performing, inclusive workforce.
- Champion continuous‑improvement initiatives, using data, KPIs and structured problem‑solving to close performance gaps.
- Develop and maintain resiliency and contingency plans, ensuring business continuity and risk mitigation.
- Build credibility and trusted relationships across a matrixed organization, sharing best practices and aligning local execution with global supply‑chain strategies.
- Represent logistics in site‑level discussions, community impact initiatives and cross‑regional projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business or related field; advanced degree (MBA or master’s) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in logistics or supply‑chain operations, preferably in a multinational, matrixed environment.
- Proven track record in talent development, team engagement and continuous‑improvement leadership.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication and influencing skills, with ability to lead through ambiguity.
