Senior Legal Manager – Corporate & Tech

About the role

DiDi Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Legal Manager to lead corporate legal matters and support technology‑driven initiatives. The role blends corporate governance, contract management, and product‑launch support within a fast‑moving mobility technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues across the organization.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology‑related contracts, including software licences, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Provide legal support for new product launches and business initiatives, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, business development, and marketing teams to mitigate legal risks.
• Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor legal developments in data privacy, intellectual property, and technology law.
• Oversee dispute resolution and coordinate with external counsel when needed.
• Lead, mentor, and coach junior legal staff.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate legal matters, preferably within the technology or innovation sector.
• Proven track record of managing complex contracts and negotiations.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior lawyers and leading a legal team.
