Senior IT Support Engineer

About the role

DEPT® is looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to own end‑to‑end IT support operations across the region, mentor junior engineers and lead strategic initiatives. You will serve DEPT® employees worldwide, providing clear communication and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Own ticket queue quality, SLA performance and escalation resolution using Jira Service Management, Slack and video conferencing.
• Lead and optimise onboarding/off‑boarding workflows and global IT projects from scoping to delivery.
• Design and conduct audits with Product Owners, maintain documentation standards and drive team adoption.
• Mentor junior team members, conduct knowledge‑sharing sessions and proactively identify process gaps.

Required profile

• 6+ years of IT support experience with a calm, level‑headed approach to challenging situations.
• Strong communication skills in English, able to explain technical information in layman’s terms.
• Experience working with culturally diverse teams and a willingness to adapt to rapid technology changes.

Required skills

• Jira Service Management, Confluence and other Atlassian tools.
• Asset Management Systems, Okta, Jamf, Microsoft Intune.
• Windows and macOS troubleshooting.
• Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack and other SaaS applications.
• ITIL/ITSM frameworks and familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
