Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to create and maintain guest‑facing web experiences for a global quick‑service restaurant (QSR) platform. You will work on features such as restaurant locator, menu browsing, online ordering, cart, checkout, payments, and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack web features using TypeScript, React, and Next.js (App Router).
• Integrate headless AEM content and connect to ordering, authentication, payment, feature‑flag, and analytics APIs.
• Write clean, well‑tested code with automated checks on every commit.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into functional software.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Debug cross‑browser issues using crash reporting, network traces, and performance profiling tools.
• Maintain unit, component, and integration tests with a focus on accessibility and Core Web Vitals.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, preview deployments, and production releases.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong commercial background building production web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of React fundamentals, hooks, context, and performance patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with Next.js (App Router) and server‑side rendering.
• Proficiency in state management (Redux Toolkit) and server‑state handling (React Query or similar).
