Senior Frontend Angular Engineer – Payments

About the role

Betsson Group is looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the Payments Engineering team. You will shape the payment experience across more than 25 brands, building high‑performance payment pages and expanding the range of payment options for our global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, multi‑brand frontend frameworks using Angular, Ionic, Angular Material and TypeScript.
• Implement secure, performant payment pages that consume RESTful APIs, WebSockets and push notifications.
• Lead a small team of engineers, ensuring best practices in code quality, testing and agile delivery.
• Collaborate with product, backend and UX teams to continuously improve the customer payment journey.
• Maintain and evolve micro‑frontend architecture, web components and event‑driven patterns.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team.
• Strong communication skills and a habit of sharing knowledge.
• Passion for staying up‑to‑date with modern web technologies.
