Senior Experience Designer

About the role

The Senior Experience Designer (Sr. XD) is a hands-on creative practitioner and strategic thinker who crafts user-centered, high-impact digital experiences across web, mobile, AR/VR, wearables and other emerging channels. The role blends design craft, technology and storytelling to create experiences that are functional, visually refined and aligned with brand, campaign and creative goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design complete digital experiences, including navigation, interface elements, content architecture and visual systems.
• Translate strategy into wireframes, interactive prototypes, UI/UX designs and design system components.
• Develop concepts, prototypes and animations that communicate interactive design solutions clearly.
• Present creative work and the rationale behind design decisions to internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with developers, UX and copywriters so design, content and functionality integrate seamlessly.
• Test and iterate on designs based on feedback, keeping them intuitive, scalable and engaging.
• Build and maintain component libraries in tools such as XD, Sketch and Figma.
• Create storyboards, animations, prototypes and presentations that guide the build process.
• Partner with technologists and UX leads on accessibility, engagement and behavioral impact.
• Manage work through review cycles and hand off completed designs for production.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Interactive Media or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in digital or experience design.
• Portfolio showing digital experiences, UI/UX, motion design and healthcare-related work.
• Experience designing for healthcare professionals and patient/consumer audiences; ability to balance creativity with regulatory and brand compliance.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and manage workflows.

Required skills

• Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.
• Animation and prototyping tools: Principle, Spline, Lottie, FigJam, Unity, TouchDesigner (three.js is a bonus).
• Working knowledge of GenAI platforms such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Google Veo and Figma Make.
• Typography, color theory, composition and visual hierarchy; responsive design and accessibility awareness.
