Senior DevOps Engineer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our self‑hosted infrastructure. You will improve reliability, automate processes, and strengthen security while supporting a fast‑growing engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage infrastructure and deployment environments.
• Audit, redesign, and automate the current hosting and deployment architecture using IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Enhance scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency of the platform.
• Harden Linux servers, implement security best practices, and configure networking, VPNs, and secure internal communications.
• Manage Dockerized environments, Docker Compose, and container networking.
• Implement automated backup and disaster‑recovery strategies for PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Build monitoring, alerting, and centralized logging systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to streamline development and release processes.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Deep expertise with Docker, Docker Compose, and container networking.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Proven experience managing self‑hosted infrastructure environments.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and server hardening.
• Experience administering PostgreSQL and Redis in production.
• Automation mindset with extensive use of Infrastructure as Code.
• Ability to work independently and communicate fluently in English.
