Senior DevOps Engineer - Customer Success

About the role

nOps is seeking a hands‑on Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Customer Success team. You will work directly with customers to identify cloud cost‑optimization opportunities, recommend solutions, and implement changes safely in production.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze Amazon EKS clusters for cost, performance and resource efficiency, optimizing pod requests, limits, node utilization and autoscaling.
• Identify and remediate under‑utilized AWS resources across RDS, EC2, EBS, VPC, S3 and other services, implementing upgrades and configuration changes.
• Build automation and repeatable workflows using Terraform, Pulumi, Python, Bash and AWS APIs to turn optimization recommendations into safe, testable infrastructure changes.
• Partner with the Customer Success team to prioritize opportunities, execute recommendations and document measurable savings.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong production experience with Kubernetes (especially Amazon EKS) and deep knowledge of AWS services, networking, storage and databases.
• Proven ability to communicate technical recommendations directly to customers and implement production changes safely.
