Senior Design Engineer

About the role

Paires is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to own the look and feel of its founder‑facing product, internal platform, and upcoming investor portal. You will be responsible for turning design decisions into shipped pixels, ensuring a premium experience for users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build production UI for founder and investor journeys using Next.js and React.
• Own the end‑to‑end craft, from design decisions to final shipped pixel.
• Maintain a high bar on visual polish and detail that differentiates premium products.
• Collaborate with a small, senior, flat team to ship fast and iterate quickly.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience designing and building production UI without handoff loss.
• Proven ability to ship React and Next.js applications and familiarity with Tailwind CSS and Supabase on the front end.
• A portfolio of live products (not just mockups) that demonstrates strong taste and opinionated craft.
• Comfort using AI tooling to accelerate work while critically reviewing output.
