Senior Data Center Project Engineer (Design & Construction)

About the role

Cirion is seeking a Senior Data Center Project Engineer to lead the design, construction, and commissioning of mission‑critical data centre facilities across LATAM. The role combines technical engineering expertise with project management to deliver complex infrastructure on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end execution of data centre projects, from concept design through construction and final commissioning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, civil, and IT specialists.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and technical standards.
• Oversee critical systems such as UPS, generators, and cooling infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and regional teams to align expectations and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in data centre or other critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers) and relevant standards.
• Familiarity with TIA‑942, ASHRAE, and BICSI guidelines.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with willingness to travel across the region.
