Senior Data and AI Cloud Solution Engineer

About the role

Partner with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that solve complex data challenges. Drive adoption of Oracle Cloud services through discovery, design and deployment activities.

Key responsibilities

• Discover customers' data challenges, priorities and success criteria, and design data platforms for integration, storage, processing and analytics.
• Recommend and implement data lake, lakehouse or data warehouse solutions, and build batch and real‑time pipelines including ETL/ELT.
• Guide architecture decisions across security, governance, performance, scalability, resilience, operations and cost.
• Lead technical discussions, demos and proofs of concept, and support customers in moving validated solutions to production.
• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to resolve integration and operational issues and promote long‑term cloud adoption.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture or related roles.
• Hands‑on experience designing enterprise data platforms that scale, recover from failures and operate reliably in production.
• Proven ability to translate architecture decisions into business outcomes and communicate trade‑offs to diverse audiences.
• Experience working directly with customers from discovery through delivery.
