Senior Associate - Risk & Independence (Personal Independence)

About the role

PwC's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is hiring a Senior Associate for its Risk & Independence - Personal Independence track, within the Internal Firm Services practice. The role supports enterprise risk management work focused on personal independence matters, regulatory requirements and the review of policies, controls and related documentation. It sits at the heart of global teams across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services.

Key responsibilities

• Review personal independence matters and interpret firm policies, regulatory guidelines and governance requirements
• Analyze complex independence scenarios and document risk considerations, actions and decisions
• Interpret data from risk registers, reporting tools and policy records to inform recommendations
• Support the development and maintenance of independence processes, controls and documentation
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather facts, clarify issues and resolve independence concerns
• Identify potential conflicts, control gaps and process improvement opportunities
• Mentor junior team members on independence procedures, documentation practices and technical standards
• Monitor changes in policies and regulatory guidance and turn them into practical day-to-day actions
• Apply responsible information management, including information security and data protection, and ensure correct information security management practices

Required profile

• At least a high school diploma or the equivalent degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English
