Senior Associate - Cybersecurity Operations Analyst (L2)

About the role

Join PwC's Acceleration Center in Buenos Aires as a Senior Associate Cybersecurity Operations Analyst. You will work with global advisory, assurance, tax and business services teams to protect client systems and data, using a broad set of tools and frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events, alerts and incidents across client environments, escalating unusual activity.
• Investigate potential threats by analyzing logs, indicators of compromise and endpoint data.
• Support incident response by gathering evidence, documenting actions and tracking remediation.
• Tune detection content and review alert logic to reduce false positives.
• Prepare case notes, incident summaries and status updates for stakeholders.
• Apply cybersecurity frameworks and policies during operational reviews.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve vulnerabilities and improve monitoring coverage.
• Guide junior team members through tasks, knowledge sharing and peer reviews.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent oral and written English.
• Preferable studies in Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or MIS.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or equivalent.
