Senior Associate Counsel – Travel Legal

About the role

As a Senior Associate Counsel in Chase Travel Group Legal, you will serve as embedded counsel to Chase Travel Corporate Solutions, providing transactional support and day‑to‑day legal advice in a fast‑paced B2B travel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic, commercially pragmatic advice to CTCS stakeholders on routine matters and major transactions.
• Lead drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, including client services agreements.
• Interpret and advise on legal and regulatory issues affecting travel sales, covering state, federal and international laws.
• Support business partners and functional teams on contract interpretation, implementation, and risk mitigation.
• Offer early‑stage legal support on antitrust, bank regulatory, UDAP/UDAAP, data privacy and security matters.
• Monitor legislative changes, assess business impact, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years post‑admission experience in a law firm or in‑house, licensed to practice in the relevant state.
• Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills with ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Entrepreneurial, business‑mindset with excellent problem‑solving and judgment.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment, pivot priorities and drive work to completion.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support business needs.

Required skills

• Transactional experience with commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of travel‑related regulations, including Seller of Travel licensing.
• Familiarity with antitrust, banking, data privacy, and security considerations.
