Senior Art Director - Marketing Campaigns

About the role

A financial services client of Wripple is looking for a Senior Art Director for marketing campaigns in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is a 40-hour-week, 12-month contract with the potential to convert to full-time for the right fit. The role leads the development of integrated creative campaigns, owning the creative idea from brief through execution for a leading global financial brand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead from the brief: dig into the business and marketing challenge, audience insights, objectives and strategy to identify creative opportunities.
• Develop the big idea with copywriters and other creatives, originating distinctive campaign concepts rather than following an established visual direction.
• Define the visual concept through art direction, imagery, typography, composition, motion and other elements of the brand experience.
• Build integrated campaign systems that scale across channels, audiences and formats.
• Art direct and oversee creative across digital, social, web, video, print, presentations and experiential touchpoints.
• Guide designers and other creatives, and present and defend creative concepts to Creative Directors, marketing partners and senior stakeholders.
• Navigate stakeholder feedback and push the boundaries of the brand thoughtfully.
• Manage multiple high-visibility projects at once and leverage AI and emerging creative tools.

Required profile

• 5-8+ years of experience in Art Direction, including at a Senior Art Director level, in a creative agency, in-house team or similar.
• Portfolio showing concept-led, integrated marketing campaigns, with personal contribution to concept, art direction and execution.
• Experience mentoring designers and giving creative direction.
• Fluency in English; financial services experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into creative work.
• Strong typography, composition and design craft.
