Senior Accounting Analyst I

About the role

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst I to join its Buenos Aires team. You will support core accounting and financial reporting processes within a global shared‑services environment, contributing to accurate month‑end closes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate general ledger and assist with day‑to‑day accounting entries.
• Prepare basic financial reports, supporting documentation, and journal entries for month‑end close.
• Perform account reconciliations and validate financial information for compliance with company policies.
• Identify, report, and escalate any discrepancies in financial data.
• Support internal stakeholders with financial analysis and ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under supervision.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and data entry.
