Semi‑Senior Motion Designer

About the role

Monks is seeking a highly organized Semi‑Senior Motion Designer who loves both beautiful animation and perfectly structured project files. You will act as the architect of visual output, building templates and automation that enable global campaigns to run across dozens of languages and formats.

Key responsibilities

• Design and “bulletproof” complex After Effects master templates that adapt to varying text lengths and localized content using Expressions and Essential Graphics.
• Own the end‑to‑end technical rollout of global campaigns, ensuring frame‑perfect localization for multiple regions.
• Champion AI‑assisted workflow automation by connecting data feeds (Sheets/CSV) to creative templates for high‑volume renders.
• Maintain rigorous asset organization and quality assurance across large libraries, guaranteeing every export meets technical and brand specifications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in an agency or fast‑paced in‑house creative team.
• Portfolio showing high‑end motion work and dynamic/programmatic creative projects.
• Detail‑obsessed mindset with a “hacker” attitude toward automating repetitive tasks.

Required skills

• Adobe After Effects, including Expressions and scripting.
• Google Workspace (Sheets, CSV integration) and AI tools such as Gemini.
• Strong knowledge of template architecture, typography, and layout adaptation.
