SAP PP/PM/QM Consultant – Manufacturing Solutions

About the role

As an SAP PP/PM/QM Consultant you will lead the design and optimisation of production planning processes, supported by plant maintenance and quality management solutions for manufacturing clients. Working within an SAP delivery team, you will translate business requirements into integrated S/4HANA configurations that improve operational efficiency and production excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional design, configuration and implementation of SAP S/4HANA PP, with secondary support for PM and QM.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into end‑to‑end manufacturing solutions.
• Configure and optimise PP Batch Management and Variant Configuration to streamline production.
• Oversee shop‑floor execution to ensure seamless integration between operations and SAP workflows.
• Design and manage production campaigns to improve resource utilisation.
• Maintain and govern PP master data for accuracy and consistency.
• Support plant maintenance integration with production planning (PM) and quality inspections/compliance (QM).
• Utilise long‑term planning and demand management to align capacity with strategy.
• Provide functional expertise, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across PP, PM and QM modules.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions and knowledge‑transfer activities.
• Ensure documentation complies with SAP best practices.

Required profile

• 7–11 years of SAP functional experience, strong expertise in SAP PP.
• Working knowledge of SAP PM and SAP QM.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Solid understanding of production planning, execution and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver aligned SAP solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and experience working with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
