Salesforce Solution Architect

About the role

Avenue Code is seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the technical vision for complex Salesforce implementations. You will own end‑to‑end solution design, from discovery through delivery, ensuring scalable integrations, solid data architecture, and secure, well‑governed environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture of Salesforce solutions, translating business and technical requirements into secure, scalable designs.
• Define integration strategies with external systems using APIs, middleware, events, and data flows.
• Design and validate data models, security, governance, performance, and scalability.
• Provide technical direction to development squads and guide architecture decisions.
• Support discovery, estimation, scope definition, and solution design for new opportunities.

Required profile

• Salesforce architecture certification (Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect).
• Proven experience designing complex, end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions, including multi‑org environments.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with business, product, and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to act as a technical reference and guide development teams.

Required skills

• Salesforce platform expertise and development best practices.
• Integration architecture knowledge: REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, event‑driven patterns.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
• Understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security and sharing models.
• Familiarity with multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data Cloud).
