Salesforce & Agentforce Functional Architect
Bridgenext
Job description
About the role
The Bridgenext Salesforce & Agentforce Functional Architect drives the success of Salesforce engagements by defining innovative, scalable solutions and acting as the product owner for the engagement. You will partner with clients, guide cross‑functional teams across time zones, and own the end‑to‑end solution vision from discovery through handoff.
Key responsibilities
- Own solution definition and vision, applying Bridgenext’s NorthStar framework to align design with client outcomes while staying within financial, timing, staffing, quality, and platform constraints.
- Design scalable solutions across Salesforce, Agentforce, related SaaS products, and web technologies, advising on declarative versus custom approaches and setting guardrails for secure, accurate agents.
- Build trusted advisory relationships with executive and technical stakeholders, facilitate discovery workshops, and maintain a shared direction throughout the engagement.
- Maintain the product backlog, translate business needs into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and prioritize work to focus the engineering team on high‑value outcomes.
- Lead technical delivery, define the critical path, run backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution demos, and coordinate architects, designers, developers, QA, and client contributors.
- Communicate progress, decisions, and risks to internal and client stakeholders, act as a strategic advisor, and push back on scope that adds complexity without value.
- Lead user acceptance testing, validate outcomes, and prepare client teams for sustained use through onboarding and training.
- Monitor engagement health, surface risks early, identify expansion opportunities, and partner with sales on follow‑on work.
Required profile
- 7+ years designing complex Salesforce solutions using both out‑of‑the‑box capabilities and customizations.
- 4+ years professional services consulting experience, ideally as a product owner on strategic engagements.
- Proven ability to own solution vision on multi‑stakeholder projects and to prioritize a product backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
- Fluency in Agentforce functionality and experience designing agents with proactive guardrails.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to C‑suite and explaining technical concepts in plain language.
Required skills
- Salesforce (declarative tools, Lightning Design System, Classic to Lightning migrations, managed package development, AppExchange).
- Agentforce platform and prompt design.
- Agile methodologies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, user story writing).
- Data Cloud integration.
