Sales Development Representative

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for a fast‑moving B2B platform that serves founders and early‑stage companies. You will work with a startup‑focused ideal customer profile, engage prospects via LinkedIn and email, and hand off qualified meetings to the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify inbound leads against defined ICP criteria.
• Conduct outbound prospecting on LinkedIn and email targeting founders and B2B decision‑makers.
• Write clear, personalized outreach messages.
• Move qualified prospects from first contact to booked meeting efficiently.
• Provide accurate context and qualification notes to the sales team.
• Maintain clean records of outreach and qualification activity in the CRM.
• Track outreach volume, qualification rates, and meeting conversion metrics.
• Identify patterns in lead quality, objections, or funnel performance and report them.

Required profile

• Proven outbound sales or SDR experience with a track record of booking meetings.
• Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and founder pain points.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organized, self‑directed, and able to manage a high volume of leads.
• Comfortable working independently during US Eastern Time business hours.
