Remote English Teacher for Primary Students

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic English teachers to deliver remote lessons to primary‑school learners (ages 9‑11) as part of the Ceibal en Inglés program. The position is home‑based, offering a flexible timetable that fits your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned groups of primary students remotely using structured, engaging online lessons.
• Serve as the main teacher for each group, monitoring progress and providing feedback.
• Collaborate with an innovative academic team to share resources and best practices.
• Adapt lesson plans to suit diverse learning contexts and student needs.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher of English with a university degree, or a Translator/Licenciado/a en Inglés with a 2‑year practicum, or CELTA/DELTA certification plus CEFR C1/C2 level.
• Proven experience teaching primary‑school learners.
• Demonstrated experience in remote learning environments.
• Strong command of Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency with online teaching platforms and video‑conferencing tools.
• Ability to manage multiple screens (computer and second monitor).
• Solid knowledge of educational technology and digital classroom tools.
