Regional Project Management and Operations Officer

About the role

The Regional Project Management and Operations Officer supports the Regional Representation for the Americas in planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring projects and technical cooperation activities across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, implementation, monitoring and follow‑up of regional projects and technical cooperation initiatives.
• Provide operational, administrative and project‑management support to regional technical teams.
• Support budget planning, financial monitoring and reporting for donor‑funded projects.
• Prepare management and operational documentation and ensure compliance with organisational administrative and financial procedures.
• Coordinate with Headquarters departments, donors and sub‑regional representations to facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in project management and operational support within an international or intergovernmental context.
• Ability to work with regional technical teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with donor‑funded initiatives and budget monitoring.
