Regional Financial Controller

About the role

The Regional Financial Controller will be based in Argentina and will ensure the accuracy, integrity and reliability of financial information for the CMA CGM Group. Acting as a business partner to local and regional leadership, the role supports operational and strategic objectives through financial analysis and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports in line with Group standards, IFRS and local regulations.
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes.
• Strengthen and monitor internal controls and financial governance.
• Support business development initiatives with financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with tax processes across the scoped countries.
• Coordinate with Shared Service Centers, external advisors, auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement and simplification of financial processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics or a related business discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medium/large corporates, terminals, forwarders, logistics or shipping companies.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical mindset and results‑oriented attitude.

• Microsoft Office (mid‑advanced level)
• Database and Dashboard creation (preferable)
• Oracle or SAP (preferable)
• Tax regulation knowledge and local GAAP
• International taxation and IFRS (plus)
