Regional Cyber Coordinator – Americas

About the role

The Regional Cyber Coordinator will support the implementation of cybersecurity strategies across the Americas, manage cyber risks and work closely with local teams to protect operations. This position ensures compliance with relevant policies, regulations and standards while fostering a strong security culture.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cybersecurity activities across multiple sites in the Americas, aligning them with global and regional policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, and follow up on mitigation actions.
• Support incident response, including investigation, containment and recovery.
• Collaborate with IT and Operations to embed security measures into daily activities and new projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity regulations and standards.
• Deliver training and awareness initiatives and manage relationships with security vendors.
• Prepare and present cybersecurity reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience, including 2 years in a coordination role.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in logistics, maritime operations or container terminals is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Proven experience in risk management, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CEH.
