Record to Report Accounting Junior Analyst

About the role

The GL Junior Analyst supports day‑to‑day general ledger operations, including bank and account reconciliations, journal entry processing, and financial reporting. Working closely with experienced professionals, the analyst gains hands‑on experience in accounting and contributes to team metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank and account reconciliations and analyze discrepancies.
• Receive, review, and post journal entries from local teams and other business units.
• Respond to inquiries from leaders and local entities with a focus on customer experience.
• Maintain organized, up‑to‑date financial records and documentation.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support new project initiatives.
• Prepare and update desktop procedures at least twice a year and maintain a capacity file tracking activity time.

Required profile

• Student in 3rd or 4th year of Public Accounting or Business Administration.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Digital mindset for systems automation and continuous‑improvement orientation.
• Intermediate to advanced English and mandatory Spanish proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Suite.
