Reconciliations & Accounting Analysis Senior Analyst

About the role

PwC is hiring a Reconciliations & Accounting Analysis Senior Analyst (Senior Associate) in its Acceleration Center Buenos Aires. The role sits at the heart of global teams across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services, supporting the Finance practice by managing financial records, analysing data and helping clients optimise their financial performance. It involves financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and risk management, and building client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisions and optimise financial performance
• Manage financial records and confirm compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Analyse complex data sets to provide accurate financial insights and recommendations
• Develop and present financial reports to stakeholders
• Implement account reconciliation processes to maintain the integrity of financial data
• Use accounting advisory skills to guide clients in financial reporting and policy adherence
• Collaborate with teams on financial reporting and general ledger maintenance
• Navigate complex situations to build client relationships and inspire team members
• Uphold professional standards, information security and data protection practices

Required profile

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Background in balance sheet or account reconciliations
• General accounting knowledge
• Oral and written English proficiency required
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting & Technology or Management Information Systems
• Preferred: CPA, CISA, CFE or CIA certification

Required skills

• Accounting advisory and financial reporting standards
• Power BI, Power Automate or Power Automate (a plus)
• US GAAP knowledge (a plus)
