Project Manager (Healthcare Communications)

About the role

The Project Manager will act as the central hub for Cadent’s healthcare communications projects, ensuring smooth coordination across account teams and external stakeholders. This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of agency deliverables within the pharmaceutical sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support account teams with internal project management activities for client work and deliverables.
• Control basic project requirements, manage timelines, and keep the team informed of status.
• Write timely meeting minutes and monitor cross‑functional responsibilities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date master project documentation, including timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Create budgets and statements of work, manage project financials, and assist with forecasting.
• Track time spent on each job daily in the time‑tracking system.
• Develop a working knowledge of industry, brands, and categories, and make proactive efficiency recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, or related field, OR high school diploma with 1‑3 years of agency project management or administrative experience.
• 2‑3 years of agency project management or specialist experience preferred.
• Experience with Wrike or another electronic project management system.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficient in English with fast, accurate typing.
• High level of computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of project management tools such as Wrike (preferred), Smartsheets, or MS Project.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and prioritize tasks.
