Project Manager (Healthcare Communications)

About the role

The Project Manager is the glue that holds our agency together, ensuring smooth delivery of healthcare communications projects for pharmaceutical clients. This role offers exposure to critical agency processes and operations, ideal for a detail‑oriented, proactive communicator eager to learn the inner workings of a world‑class medical communications firm.

Key responsibilities

• Support account teams with internal project management activities and client deliverables.
• Control basic project requirements, manage timelines, track status, and write timely meeting minutes.
• Monitor cross‑functional team responsibilities, ensuring accountability and progress.
• Maintain up‑to‑date master project documentation, including timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Create budgets and SOWs, manage project financials, and support forecasting.
• Oversee ongoing project budgets and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of industry, brands, and categories.
• Make proactive recommendations to improve efficiency and quality.
• Establish solid working relationships with internal teams.
• Accurately track and record time spent on each job daily.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing or related field, or a high school diploma with 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
• 1‑3 years of agency project management, project specialist, executive assistant or administrative assistant experience (2‑3 years preferred).
• Experience with Wrike or another electronic project management system.
• PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Project‑management tools: Wrike, Smartsheets, MS Project (or similar).
• Quick and accurate typing.
