Project Manager – Electronic Tolling & Traffic Management

About the role

Kapsch is seeking a Project Manager to lead Electronic Tolling and Traffic Management projects across Argentina, with possible exposure to other Latin American markets. You will act as the trusted advisor for key customers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget while meeting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and close projects, aligning deliverables with customer expectations.
• Manage scope, schedule, resources, risks and budgets to achieve successful outcomes.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication.
• Drive contract execution, change and claims management, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Implement quality‑assurance standards and best practices throughout project activities.
• Track, analyse and present performance metrics, including SLAs and KPIs.
• Support commercial discussions and identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Project Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end projects, preferably medium‑scale and customer‑facing.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in client relationship, contract, risk and conflict management.
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2) proficiency, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with project‑management tools such as MS Project, Jira or Confluence.
