Production Engineer – Lehliu Gară

About the role

We are expanding our sandwich‑panel production facility in Lehliu Gară and are looking for a Production Engineer to lead the manufacturing flow. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, strong communication, and a proactive attitude to ensure high‑quality output in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all production activities within the assigned area and provide guidance on process and flow issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, health, environmental policies and local regulations.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, applying Lean principles to boost efficiency.
• Maintain a safe workplace and coach team members on best practices.
• Monitor product quality and cost standards, addressing non‑conformities and implementing corrective actions.
• Track production progress, material consumption, and maintenance program execution.
• Optimize production time, quality, and costs while supporting capacity development.
• Diagnose line problems, recommend solutions, and deliver training.

Required profile

• Degree in technical, mechanical or electromechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial production, preferably in sandwich‑panel manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of technological flow and manufacturing processes for sandwich panels.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and TPM/Continuous Improvement environments.
• Proficiency with PC applications (Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP) and English at B2 level.
• Demonstrated leadership, team‑management and ability to work under pressure on shift schedules.
