Production Engineer – Lehliu Gară

About the role

We are expanding our sandwich‑panel production facility in Lehliu Gară and are looking for a proactive Production Engineer to lead the new plant. The role combines hands‑on production monitoring, continuous‑improvement initiatives, and team leadership in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all production activities in the assigned area and provide guidance on process flow.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, health, and environmental policies and local regulations.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects, applying Lean Management principles to optimise time, cost and quality.
• Maintain a safe working environment and coach team members on best practices.
• Monitor product quality, investigate non‑conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Track production progress, material consumption and report key metrics.
• Oversee implementation of the maintenance programme and support capacity‑expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in technical, mechanical or electromechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar production engineering role, preferably in sandwich‑panel manufacturing.
• Strong communication, presentation and planning abilities.
• Proven leadership experience in a TPM/Continuous‑Improvement environment.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high‑energy production setting.
