Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end procurement process, from vendor selection and sourcing to order tracking and delivery. Working closely with internal clients and Chevron’s preferred supplier network, the role ensures timely delivery of equipment and materials while optimizing total cost of ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors in line with company policies and preferred‑supplier agreements.
• Issue purchase orders, monitor order status, and expedite shipments to meet project schedules.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics to ensure efficient movement of goods.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Support functional projects and provide procurement expertise to internal customers under regular supervision.

Required profile

• Background in supply chain, logistics, engineering or a related field.
• Experience in procurement, order management or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
