Print Design Lead

About the role

Residence Supply is seeking a Print Design Lead to own the end‑to‑end print function for its high‑end lighting brand. This craft‑focused role will shape ad campaigns and physical collateral that reflect the brand’s bold, architectural‑digest‑worthy aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design and deliver print ad campaigns from initial idea to press‑ready files, ensuring premium layout, typography and composition.
• Establish and maintain the print standards for the brand, overseeing taste, finish and consistency across all printed pieces.
• Develop physical collateral such as ads, mailers, catalogs, packaging inserts and other brand assets.
• Manage technical print production: build files in CMYK, control colour accuracy, set bleeds, trim and safe margins.
• Direct printers, pre‑press houses and freelance designers, brief them clearly, review proofs, select paper and finishes, and prevent costly re‑prints.
• Prepare clean, production‑ready files and occasionally adapt print designs for digital use without losing integrity.

Required profile

• A portfolio that demonstrates strong taste, craft and real print work.
• Deep understanding of print design versus digital, including colour behaviour on press.
• Ability to prioritise work, lead vendors and freelancers, and take accountability for press outcomes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for finish.
• Collaborative, proactive and self‑directed attitude.
