Principal Cloud Architect – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

Atmosera is seeking a Principal Cloud Architect to own the technical vision and architecture for its shared, multi‑tenant platforms. You will design Azure‑based solutions, break down complex initiatives into actionable work, and partner with business and account stakeholders to ensure the platform meets client and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, validate and implement Azure solutions that improve platform reliability, security and scalability.
• Decompose large, ambiguous initiatives into scoped, delegable work items and lead delivery through engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Cloud Operations and account teams to surface technical considerations early and shape what gets built.
• Mentor engineers on Azure architecture best practices and establish reusable architectural patterns.

Required profile

• 8+ years of cloud engineering and architecture experience.
• Deep, hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, monitoring, automation and platform capabilities.
• Proven ability to break down complex work, lead delivery through others and produce infrastructure‑as‑code (Bicep or Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication and collaboration skills.
