Planner - Materials Management

About the role

Ecolab is looking for a Materials Management Planner to oversee a medium‑sized portfolio of raw materials. You will act as a central liaison between procurement, suppliers, manufacturing sites and planning teams to ensure material availability while balancing service, inventory and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with procurement, suppliers, plant personnel, central planning and supply chain management.
• Own the coordination and resolution of supply shortages, escalating issues and leading hyper‑care discussions when needed.
• Identify future stock‑out dates, inventory needs and develop clear action plans.
• Monitor and mitigate risks in material planning that could disrupt the broader supply chain.
• Coach the network materials team on continuous‑improvement practices and best‑practice implementation.
• Partner with procurement and material planners on supplier transitions and improvement opportunities.
• Lead or participate in cross‑functional supply‑chain projects impacting safety, quality, service and cost.
• Maintain master data and key parameters in the planning ERP system.
• Manage inventory levels across network locations to meet service targets and correct imbalances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply‑chain planning or a similar role.

• Proficiency with ERP planning systems.
